Flyers & Brochures FAQ

What’s the difference between a flyer and a brochure?

A flyer is a single flat sheet. A brochure is folded — usually half fold or tri-fold — so it holds more information in a compact format. Postcards are thicker cover stock, built to survive the mail.

Which paper should I choose?

100lb gloss text is the go-to for colourful flyers. Matte reads better for text-heavy pieces. For postcards and anything handled a lot (like menus), go with a 14pt or 16pt cover stock.

Can you handle Canada Post direct mail?

We can source postcards sized and set up for Canada Post Neighbourhood Mail. Mention it in your quote request and we’ll include the right specs.

How long does it take?

Most flyer and brochure runs are ready in 3–5 business days after proof approval. Rush and local pickup are often possible in the Ottawa area.

Do folded brochures need special file setup?

Yes — each panel is a slightly different width so the fold sits cleanly. We send a template with your quote, or our design team can lay it out for you.
